Ben Cohen

Co-Founder & Chief Operations Officer

Ben Cohen

Ben grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where he fostered a deep love of the ocean and the wilderness from his earliest days. Having recently finished his time with the Marine Corps, he is thrilled to reconnect with Southeast Alaska and the incredible beauty that it holds. The Wilderness and Wine tours that STROBE Boats was founded to offer allows Ben to combine all of his passions into a single place. He’s excited to share that beauty and wilderness with all who want to see it.

Steve Eisenbeisz

Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Steven Eisenbeisz

A resident of Sitka since 1992, Steven understands the passion of Alaska's rugged beauty. It is this love that led him to co-found STROBE, so that people worldwide can be educated on the uniqueness and wonder of the Tongass National forest. Steven's deep involvement with the community of Sitka can be traced back to his volunteer duties with Sitka Mountain Rescue and the Sitka Fire Department. He is now in his third term as Sitka’s Mayor. Combining passion with employment, Steven and his wife Ashley own two sporting goods stores in town, one with records dating back to 1897. When not working, Steven can be found out on the water pursuing King Salmon, or simply taking a cruise to a secluded bay.
